Educational Technology support

"It's not about the technology we teach with; its about how we teach with the technology."
Educational technology is more than just tools—it’s a way to inspire curiosity, spark engagement, and make teaching more efficient and impactful. Over the years, I’ve provided professional development for teachers across our district and attended both state and national conferences focused on edtech and instructional strategies—always with the goal of bringing back fresh, practical ideas to share.
I learn from a variety of sources, including podcasts, webinars, and professional networks, so I can stay on top of the latest tools and trends. One of my favorite quotes sums up my mindset perfectly: “It’s not about the technology we teach with; it’s about how we teach with the technology.” I believe this because many teachers assume that when students are one-to-one with Chromebooks, we have to use them all the time—but that’s not the case. If technology isn’t helping us reach a learning goal, then it isn’t always necessary. There are many ways to learn, and tech is just one of the tools we can choose.
When we collaborate, I focus on matching the right technology to your goals—whether it’s designing interactive, student-centered lessons or streamlining productivity for you as a teacher. My aim is to make technology feel approachable, purposeful, and empowering for both teachers and students.
