At the end of June, I had the awesome opportunity to attend both the ISTE and ASCD conferences down in San Antonio with Brenda Hodnett and Michael Dale from the high school. This was my third time going to ISTE, and I’m so thankful I got to go again.

I really don’t take these experiences for granted—when I attend, I always have all of you in mind. I seek out sessions and explore ideas that I know could be helpful back here at BMS and all buildings.

Between ISTE and ASCD, there were over 1,800 sessions, nearly 3,000 presenters, and more than 15,000 educators from 74 countries—it was a whirlwind!

I also spent time at the vendor show, which had over 500 booths. I got to test out some cool new edtech tools and chat with a few companies we already use.

I’m excited to pass along what I learned and share some fresh ideas through PD or just casual coaching convos. I can't wait to connect and share more!
